Summary
This position will ensure management ofLine 3operations to achievemaximumrun time, product quality, and raw product recovery. This is to beaccomplishedin a manner consistent with safety,qualityand production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the monitoring of the blancher circulation system and flushes/unplugs thissystemas necessary.
- Checkall equipment in the area to ensure it is fully functional.
- Ensures that Team Leaders,mechanicsand other shift support personnel are notifiedregardingchanges inLine3conditions.
- Utilize unscheduled/scheduleddown-times.
- Monitors the weigh belt, blancher, quencher,fryerand freezer systems in Wonderware.
- Able to read and understand training materials and other information related to the job and complete paperworkin a timely manner.
- Ensures that the oil system isoperatedsafely and correctly tomaintainproper filtration and free fatty acid levels (FFA).
- Ensures the preparation of additives andmonitorstheir flow into the transfer system.
- Perform Fry-ups and takeAgtroncolor measurements to make any necessary color adjustments.
- Ensures work area ismaintainedin asanitary condition to prevent product contamination and efficient operations of all activities includingstart-up andmajor sanitation.
- Performsbi-weekly major cleanup.
- Ensure materials are supplied for all equipment onthe line.
Typical Education
High School graduate or equivalent
Relevant Experience
- Must have completed the Job Skill Evaluation successfully
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisions and calculate percentages to make proper adjustment as required
- Must have an acceptable safety record.
- Must have an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
